Landscape Evaluation

In the early 1960s, the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce and SMGC joined hands in conducting landscape evaluations for businesses and corporations located within the county to encourage a heightened awareness of the advantages of an improved quality of life. Through this program, hundreds of awards have been made to companies who made the effort to improve the visual quality of their properties. This program is conducted in the spring each year.
